The CityTrees calendar for 2010 includes five Saturday tree plantings, six prunings and two workshops. The February workshop is our annual classroom/streetside event to demonstrate how to care for shade trees like the ones CityTrees plants. New this year is a Fruit Tree pruning workshop in August; whether you have a fruit tree at home or not, this workshop is open to all.

What’s Next?

Saturday, March 13, is Lop 'n Lunch. Meet at 9:00 AM at the corner of Madison Avenue and Quartz Street. near Red Morton Park (and only 2 blocks from the location of the recent pruning workshop). We will prune till about 11:30, then move to the CityPub on Broadway in downtown Redwood City. All pruners, experienced or not, are encouraged to attend. Tools, coffee, and bagels are provided.
