CityTrees is celebrating the planting of its 2000th tree during the weekend of September 19-21.
On Friday and Saturday, the tree will be on display in downtown Redwood City by the courthouse plaza. On Friday,
this will be in conjunction with National PARK(ing) Day, when
auto parking spaces are transformed into temporary mini urban parks, and on Saturday the tree will continue on
display during the Salsa Festival.
On Sunday at 1:00 PM, the tree, a seven-year old Valley Oak, will be planted in Stafford Park. Join us for refreshments
at the dedication and planting. Please RSVP to Jane Taylor at 650-369-3428 or janeyappleseed@sbcglobal.net.
What’s Next?
Saturday, October 18, is our next planting. The location is not yet decided. Check back here as the date
approaches for details when they are available.
