The CityTrees calendar for 2010 includes five Saturday tree plantings, six prunings and two workshops. The February workshop is our annual classroom/streetside event to demonstrate how to care for shade trees like the ones CityTrees plants. New this year is a Fruit Tree pruning workshop in August; whether you have a fruit tree at home or not, this workshop is open to all.

What’s Next?

Saturday, June 12, please join us for a tree planting! We will be planting near Brewster Avenue and Arguello Street. We will meet at 9:00 AM. As usual, we'll have coffee and muffins to get started, then do a demonstration planting before we begin. Don't forget to wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty, and bring sunscreen and a reusable container for drinking water. Tools, gloves and water are provided.
